Magic Number 83

It's finals time again! Acne covered faces, stressed out expressions and lots of coffee are all signs of the weekend before finals week. I have represented all of the above but this semester is not all that bad. I need at least an 83 on all of my four finals (computers final presentation is already complete) to get straight A's this semester. That is totally doable.

My learning and memory class has been the hardest this semester because of the content of information. Brain functions, memory concepts and tons of chapters to read has left me pooped and undetermined to study for the final. Luckily I pushed myself really hard during the semester and got on average a 95% on the midterms to put me in this "only need an 83" to get your A position. Same thing with my other psychology class. Industrial Psychology has been much easier in the information department but it still comprises of A LOT of theories and concepts. If all goes well I will keep my 4.0 in my psychology major, that is what I really want.

My three Sociology classes (I only need one more next semester to complete my major!!) are a mixed bag. My Childhood class allows us to use a cheat sheet on the exam, I know what is this high school? Needless to say, I am not too worried about that one. My professor is pretty laid back in her questioning as well. Theory on the other hand, is going to be a handful. We covered twelve theorists and they all somehow sound exactly the same or completely different. Now it is my responsibility to remember who thought what and why and why they contradicted the other. This final will be the death of me BUT I only need an 83 right? Right! My computers class is all said and done with, thank gosh! Presentation and research paper are turned in and now I wait for a grade.

Overall, finals week shouldn't be too bad but the fact that you need to study for hours on end in one week is what freaks people out. My brain just totally starts frying and no more material can even begin to enter. I start studying today and my finals are pretty well spaced out next week so hopefully that will help.

To all my fellow Titans out there, good luck! We are six days away from Summer. :)
