This weekend will be a great one but I think I may need a vacation on Monday. Too bad summer school starts then! Friday is my god-daughter's first birthday!! I can't believe it's already been a year since that bundle of joy "popped" out of my wifey. We will be celebrating by having dinner and I am making my signature chocolate cupcakes for the kidlets to enjoy.
Saturday is my mother's 40th birthday and we will be going to my grandpa's house for the festivities! Uncle Troy and Auntie Stu will be in attendance and the ice cold pool will be ready for some warm blooded mammals. I hope the sun comes out! I am so excited for my mom to take a step into the next decade of her life. She has grown so much as a person in the last ten years and I hope she continues to grow in her forties. I have heard the fifth decade of life is amazing! Good luck on being 40 Mom! I love you!
Sunday is Papi Day! I got my dad exactly what he wanted and I can't wait for him to read my sassy little card. He is always appreciative with gifts and cards, no matter the price. My dad does so much for my family and I truly love him to pieces. I hope we can give him a relaxing day to show how much we care about what he does all year long.
That is just an outline of what will be going on this weekend. Mike has the whole weekend off so he will be by my side the entire family packed days! I can't wait :)
